i WHMMA N the members of the Court proceeded by ballot to appoint a Justice of the Peace for

Product No. 4 of Brazos County, Texas, to till out the unexpired tea of the late Judge B. M. Dodson
which will and on December 31, 1950. The result of the balloting was to select Mr. N. L. Graham of Bryan,
O
and he was thereupon appointed to fill out the unexpired tam ending an December 31, 1950, as Justice of the
Peace, Precinct No. 4, Bravos County, Texas, at Bryan, Texas. Mr. Graham was called before the Court and
accepted the appointment and stated that he would present his official bond and begin his duties immediately.
WHEREUPON the Court adjourned.

spection had revealed some defective electrical wiring in the Brazos County Jail, and his recommendation

was that because of this hazardous condition, the entire Jail be rewired. Whereupon, on motion made,

duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to authorize Sheriff Hamilton to secure at least
three bide for the complete rewiring of the Jail and submit them to the Court at its next regular meeting
'
to be held on May 8, 1950, for formal action.

On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to reimburse Commissioner'

Newton Burlin for cash paid out for expense of himself and two other County Ccm 4 donors to Houston and

return to Bryan, on February 20, 1950, on official business of Brazos County in the amount of $7.50, to
be paid from travel expense item in the Road and Bridge Fund.

Gigots J. Porterfield for cash paid out for expense of himself and two other County Commissioners to
Houston and return to Bryan, on January 16, 1950, on official business of Brazos County,-in the amount
of $8.00, to be paid from travel expense item in the Road and Bridge Fund.
On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court voted to pay to Willis Kudr of Bryan,

Texas, the mum of $24.00 for 48 loads of concrete gravel delivered to the Brazos County Shope for use in
making concrete slab and otherwise improving the grounds, at the rate of 50c per load, to be paid from
Permanent Improvements Fund.
