S. Ware, County Judge, presiding; Raymond A. Nolan, County C~mmissioner, Precinct No. 1; William A. Conrad, County Commissioner, Precinct No. 2; Clyde' J. Porterfiald, County Com~tssloner, Precinct No. 3; and Newton Burlin, County Commissioner, Precinct No. &. Coming on to be heard the application of Mrs. Margaret Wallace to close portions of Milton Street, Northwest Drive and ~_mmett Street in the MARGARET WALLACE SUBDIVISION in the Moses Beine League in Brazos County, Texas, ss shown by application end ple~ attached thereto esl made a part hereof: I~E STATE OF TEXA~ ! WARE, County Judge; And the CONLKSSIONERS COURT OF BRAZOS COUNTT, TEXAS: NOW C0~.S Mrs. Margaret Wallace, a widow, and shows unto the Court that heretofore on the l&th day of June, 19&8, she platted end subdivided a tract of land in the Moses Baine Lea~e in Brazos County, Texas, and dedicated the roads, streets, alleys , end public grounds for the purposes ordinarily used, said plsB duly recox~ed in Volume 135, pass 256, Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, to which reference is here made for more particular desoripti on. That in platting same by accident and mistake said plat shows Milton Street between Block 21 on the North, end Blocks 16, 17, 18 and 19 on the South; and thc Northside Drive ran between Blocks 1. ~, 10, 15 and 20, on the West, and2, 5, 7, 11, 16 and 21, on the East, as sho~n by said Plat; that Emmett Drive ran between Blocks 7, 11 and 16 on the West; and 8, 12 and 17, on the East; that in Block 20 there was a residence, and it was intended that there would be e ten-acre tract that went with the residence that should have been left - out of the origi'osl plat. ~2{EREi~DRE, your applicant prays this Court to vacate end abandon the follovAng portions of Llilton Street, to--it: BEGINNING at a point between Lots 16 and 32 in Block 17; TH~CE in a northwesterly direction elongthe line of Bl~cks 17 end 16, and Milton Street, end corner,on the northwest corner of Block 16, same b~ng on the comer of E~ett Drive; THENCE in e Northeasterly direction across Emm~tt Street, 50 feet end corner, at the southv~st comer of Blodc 21; THENCE in a southeasterly direction along the line of said Block 21 and Milton Street, &25 feet end corner between Lots 9 and 10 in said Block 21; TH~E in a Southwesterly direction 50 feet to the PI.ACE OF BE~NNING. 2. That Northwest Drive be closed, vacated end abandoned, as follows: BEGINtFZNG et a point on the East line of Block 15 at the common corner of Lots 28 and 29 on said Northwest Drive; THENCE in a northwesterly direction 550 feet and comer at the northeast corner of Block 20 et Marshall Street; THEI~E in a northeasterly direction along the eot~h line of Harshall Street, 50 feet; ~{ENCE in a southeasterly direction along the west line of Block 21 and crossing Milton Street, and t. he West line of Block 16 .and..oomer,~ at the common corner of Lots 11 and 12 in said Block 16; THENCE in a NorthwesterAy cxre~tion ~0 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. 3.
