This motion was seconded by Commissioner Barkhalter'. an~ was then adopted by the Coart upon the affLrmative votes of Commissioners Porterfield amd B~rhhalter amd County ~ud~e Ware, with Commissioners 'Conrad and B~rlin voting against the motion. Whereupon the chair annoonced that the budget had 'been finally approved by a vote of three-to-two, as recOrded above· Upon motion by Commissioner Conmd, seoonde~ by Comm~ssioner B~rlin, amd uman~moasly · adopte~ the ~Co~rt voted to fix and levy occupation taxes for Brazes Coaaty at one-half (~) of the rates lev~e~' bY the State of Texas, and to fix and levy the Comity Poll ~ax at twenty. five !gSa) Cents per eligible person for the forthcoming year· ~. ,, ,Xt was forther ~nanimo~sly voted by the Co~rt to fix and levy taxes for the several acme, on school districts withim ]~razos County, for the t~x year of 1948-1949, in the amoants and at the rates oertifie~ to 'the Co~rt by the Coanty School Saperintendent. ae~-~ln~ to the following schedule: ; ......
