The object of this meeting was to l~roceed in a body to Austin, Texas, on official
buginesa of Brazes County for the purpose cfi 'urgin~ the Lagis~ture to enact laws providing
additional_ ',, , revenues for farm-to-market highways or ~at~rsl county roads, and ~rtioularly as
~rov,~e~ for in }louse Bill No. 650 on which public hearings were scheduled flor' this date. By
mo~lon duly seconded and unanimously adopted, 'the County Judge was 'authorized to present for
payment ~gsinst the Road and Bridge Fund a statement for refund of expenses so~ually incurred
on this trip. ~ ,

and others, a'nd stranded a~d participated in the publio hearings b,fore thc }louse
on-Hlghmaya a~d Roads, during which the counties' cause was rigorously presented. Afte~ n
prolonge~.. , 'session ending after nightfall, the Court returned to Bryan et 10:30 p~ m., and
immediately adjourned.
