County,Texas, in response to said petition, do hereby order that an election be held on
Saturday, April 28, 1965, at the Harvey Schoolhouse In said Co~mon School District
No. 7, to determine whether or not a majority of the resident property tsxpaying
· ho ars legally qualified voters in such district desire to levy an additional local school
msintem-noe tax or increase the exlstin~ local school maintenance tax from 500 to
on the ~100.00 valuation of taxable property within said district, and to determine
whether or not the Commissionerst Court of said County shall be authorized to levyt assess
sad collect sueh increased local sahool ~aintansnoe tax; and
H. Lo Weedon is hereby appointed presiding officer of said election, and he shall
seleet two clerks to assist hl~ in holding said alsatian, and he shall w~thin five days
after said election has been held ~ake due return t~ereof to the Cnmm~Ssioners~ Court of
this County as is required by law for holding ~eneral elestions.
Ail persons who are ledally qualified voters of this 5tats and of this County end who
are resident property taxpayers in said District shall be entitled to vote at said
election, and all voters who favor the proposition herein shall have written or
on their ballots the followins:
"FOR increasing the levy of local school maintenance tax fra~ fifty (~0o) cents to
seventy-five (?5o}oents on the $100.00 valuation of taxable property within said
