During the canvass of )he results as aforesaid, there camo a de[~satton of Cltlzen~
composed ~f Mes~rs.'Walter'A. Lawless, Falter Xlndt,, ami ~.T.Ollpin of' Kurten, and ot~tea
their objections to the conduct of the trustee eleotio~ held ia Kurten Common School Dis-
trier No. 10, and indicated their desire to contest the apparent election of Ben Motzer.
By unanimous agreement of the members of the Co~uaisolonsro, Court, a hearing on thio
question was set for 9:00 a.m., Saturday, Apri~ 1~, 19&~, in order to afford both the con-
testants and the persons ~ho acted as election officials to be held in the matter.
Subsequently to adjournment of the Court, Mr. Walter A. Lawless as spokesman for hie
delegation, officially notified the County ~udge that they did not desire to.continue ~heir
protests or contest of the Kurten election and requested that no further attention be given
the matter.
There being no further business, the Court adjourned.
