The Court took cognizance of the fast that no protest had been made as to allowances
of ex-officio salaries heretofore voted to the ~ustice of the Peace and the Constable of
Precinct No. 4, of Brazes County,?exae, and set for public hearin~ at 10:00 a.m., on
Saturday, ~anusry 20, 1945. ~hereupon a motion was unanimously adopted ~akin~ final the
&llowaneee of salaries to ~hese precinct officers as tentatively fixed by the 0curt o~ ~anoa~

At the request of the County Clerk end upon ~otion duly seconded end unanimously adopted
the Court voted to fix the selqry of ~ve Wilds Wilson, Deputy County Clerk, et $~2~o00 per
month, effective fro~ February l, 1945.
Upon motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted, the Court authorized the payment
of the it~n of ~0o00 from the Oeneral Fund for ten subscriptions to the County 0ffioer
· agaz~na, the official publioet~on of the National Aasoc~ation of County Officials, and direo
ted that these ma&azines be mailed to the ten elected county officers: all as shown by
verified state.hr filed with the Clerk of the Court°
