The Court received and approved official bonds as submitted by the following-
named precinct officers who had thereto,ore been n and'assumed ~elr official
duties:

Rosa Berm, no, Constable of Precinct No. 8, at Steele'a Store, Texas.
On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted it was voted to rent for ~he
calendar year of 1915 to Mr. E. E. Y~.ager of Bryan, Texas, for agricultural and pasture
purposes only, ~he unused portion of the Brazes County Farm for $35.00 sash for the
year, payable in advance; and the Court aokncwledged receipt of this payment for
the form of a check which was delivered to the Courty Treasurer for credit to the
Brazes County Road and Bridge Fund.
Prelim/nary to the selection of an official county depository for the biennium
of 19~5-/~b, by unanimous vote the Oounty Judge was authorized to advertise for bi~a
on a county depository by publication of the following notice in the Bryan Daily Eagle
January 8, 19&5
once per week for three weeks prior to the February meeting of the court:

succeed him as Brazes Cowry Agent effective ~anuary 15, 19~5. Upon the specific reques~
of hr. R. S.' Miller, District ~ent of the ~xtension Service of the A. · M. College of
Texas,~t'hat the salary heretofore ~id 1~. Dudley be kept in effect for Mr. K~brou~,
,*- the Co~t voted ~an~ously to all~ ~e salary of the County ~ent aC the rate of
$17&0.00 per a~, effective ~ry 15, 19&5, or when certified by the proper officials
of the ~t~sion Service.

On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted it was voted by the Court to .
continue all precinct officers within Brazos County on a strict fee biets; that ia
such compensation as may be earned by them will be the fees of their offices oolleo~ea
retained as provided by law.
Upon motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted it was voted to allow
ex-officio salaries to the named precinct officers as follows:
~ustice of the Peace, Precinct No. ~ at Bryan, ........ $600.00
0onstabls of Precinct No. 6 at Bryan ............. ~600.00,
to be paid from the General Fund; and public hearing on these two items is hereby
set for ten o'clock a.m., Saturday, ~anuary 20, 19~5. It is specifically direotea,
however, that the County Clerk or disbursing officer of the County s~all make, no
payment of ex-officio salaries for a given month until or unless the necessary monthly
report or fees for the preceding calendar month ~s been filed for the attention of the
Commissioners, Oourt.
On motion of Commissioner Xro, seconded by Com~fesioner Burkhalter, and unanimously
adopted, it was voted to apportion the $52,000.00 set up in the 19~5 budget as precinct
operating costs, to the four precincts in the following percentages and respective amount~

On motion duly seconded and unanimously adopted it was voted to repair and re-
condition and otherwise place in first-class operating order four morse graders now owned
by the County and in serious ~eed of overhauling, and to pay this expanse fro~ the Road
and Bridge Fund upon completion and acceptance of the work, to ~e done by the
