The Commissioners' Court of Brazes County,?exqa, met in the office of the County ~u~ga at the Courthouse at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 1~, 1966, with the followin~ [nembar s present: A. S. Were, County ~udge of Brazes County,Texas, noting for and on behalf of the Commissioners, Court of Brazes County, Texas, hereby a6ree to do ell earth work including the oons~rudtion of the terrace ridge, fills across the gullies and law places, and outlets and outlet' channels, necessary to construct smell ridge type or channel type terraces under the 1,~.,V.~ohase Order Plan, a pert of the Conservation Materials and Services Pro6ram, which meet the specifications of 1966 Production Practice No. 1-B as shown in 801, Texas Handbook 1926 A~rioultural Oonservation Program. The Brazes County Committee, represented by ~.E.Weedon, a member, agrees that in the ~.~vent the terraces constructed by the vendor meet the minimum specifications as set ou~ above, certification and recommendation for payment will be mede in accordance with the ...procedure set out in Conservation Materials and Services Bulletin, SHS-}O, and amendments thereto. The vendor and the county committee further a~reo that the amount of payment to the vendor authorized on the purchase order rrm ACP-l~8 (~evlsed) in the #Total~ column, line l, Section 1, will be computed in accordance with provisions of the conservation llaterlels and Services Program, SRS-JO, Section 102, as amended, end will be baaed upon an estimated number of units or service to be deliveredby the vendor. When the ssr¥1oe has been de- livered such amount will be reoomputad in accordance with the provisions of the Conservation llaterlals and Services Pro,ram, SRS-}O, as ~mendad, upon the basis of the number of unite of service actually delivered. In no event ~dll the Imyment to the vendor exceed the amount available to the farmer for services as flnally computed and the vendor must therefore look to the faraer for the difference between th; contracted s~at of ~he work and the amount to be paid by the AAA under the purchase order.
