of the County Judge at .10:00 a.m., September, 10,, 194~,. with the followln~ members press, hr:

This meeting was called for the purpose of canvassing, the r. eturne o.f, a special school
bond election held in Brazes County,C~..mon School District No. l& at F~lge~ Texas, ,on Septembe~
4, 1943, in accordance with formal order of the County Judge made and entered in ree'~onsa to
a sufficient petition from resident property taxpaying.oitize, ns who are qualified voters with.
1~ said school district. 3aid election was to ~e~ermine ~bether or not a majority of the
resident property taxpayi~g citizens who are legally qualified voters were in favor of iseui~
school bonds to the amount of $22~0.00 to run for 20 years and-bearing not to exceed four per
cent interest, and levying a tax on all taxable property within said district sufficient to
pay the currant interest on said bonds and to provided a sinking fund to pay the principal
et ~t urlty. .
WHEREUPON THE OFFICIAL RET~d{S OF SAID ELECTION W~RE DULY C~VA~SED BY ~HE Court and
it was found ttmt there wes a total of 24 votes for the issuance Of the bonds and the
levying of'the tax in payment thereof, snd that there were no votes east against the is-
suance of the bonds and the levying of thetax in payment thereof.
WKE~EtrPON it was found and duly declared and ordered by the Comm~seloners' Court of
Brazes County,Texas, in session as aforesaid, that the proposition for the issuance of'the
bonds and levying of the-tax in payment thereof had carried by a majority of 24 votes.
