~to be in satisfactory condition and fully equipped. It being understood that this truck

it was voted to pay County Hands upon the following scales uniformly throughout thc County=
Each Commissioner may designate one monthly~ge-hshd at

Bridge Worker, $&,O0 per day
Truck Drlver, $~.~0 per day.

On motion, duly seconded and unanimously adopted, it wes voted t~ increase th~
appropriation for clerical assistance to the County Judge and Commissioners, Court by
tho sum of S60.00 ~or the remainder of 19&~, and therewith to increase the salary of
Miss Verna Lambert for the moths of September, October, November and December, 19~2, from
~85.00 to ~lO0.O0 per month.
On motion, duly seconded and ~unanimously adopted, and with the desire to cooperate
with the war effort of the United States Government in ezpeditin~ and feoilitatin~
the construction of emergency improvements at the United States Ar~ AZrport, Located
west of Bryan and ~nown as the Bryan Field, it was vo~ed t~ re~t to the Austin ~oad
6ompany, havi~6 the contract for certain construction work, the foll0w~n6 specified
County equipment at the rental rates indio~ted, and 'authorizl~-the~ounty Judse to enter
