April 13, 1942, with the following present: County Judge A. S. Ware, Presiding; Commissioner C. M. Graham, Commissioner M. B. Parker, with County Clerk A.B. Syptak acting as Clerk. The Court accepted and approved the audit report dated March 27, 19426 made by Rankin r Aud it Company; , of Certified Public Acoountapts Houston, Texas, covering the Tax Assessor- Collector's office of Brazos County, from January 1 to and including February 289 19429 neo- cessitated by the resignation of Mr. J. R. Tatum and the taking over of the duties of that office by Mr. I. M. Weedon, It was noted with satisfaction that this audit report shows theaocounts and affairs of that office to be in absolutely correct condition, and that they have been fully accepted and receipted for by Mr. Weedon. Whereupon it pQs voted una- nimously to release Mr. Tatum and his sureties from any and all liability from and after March 1, 1942. The Court received and approved as submitted officers reports for the month of March, 1942, with remittances to the County Treasurer, as shown: A. B. For the election of local trustees in the several common school districts of the' County, upon canvass of the returns of elections before the Court the followOng results were found and declared: School District No. 1, `l'empleman: No election returns were received, and it was unofficially reported that no election was held.` f No. 3, Uillican• Mrs. Robert Fuqua 17 votes; S. H. Smith 1 vote; Whereupon Mrs. Robert Fuqua was declared to have been elected by a majority of 16 votes. No. 4, Peach Creek: Mrs. John Utsey 10 votes; Lira. D.M. Henry Wehrman , 1 vote; 4 ?Yir whereupon it was found and decle'red that Albin Fridel was elected by a majority of forty-one (41) votes over the other candidates. No. 28,Allenfarm: No election returns were received and it was unofficially reported that no election was held. No. 30: Kingshi wa Rube McDonald received eight votes and It was found and declared that he was elected by that vote, there being no other candidate. There came on to be considered by the Court two bills dated March 18, 1942, sub- witted by Dale P.
