A delegation c~posed of m~bers of the Brazes Cowry Un,ted State~ Dep~tmen~
of A~oult~e War Board, the m~bers of the Co~ty ~nd Use Plan~ O~ttee,
representative of the Bryan-Brazes Cowry Chamber of Go--roe, 'ap~ere~ before the
Co~t ~,p~sented the question of the presen~ acute Sho~e~e of farm labor
~n Brazes Oo~ty. },~bers of the delegation f~ther called attention to the ~r~e
n~ber of ~employed persons co~re~etl~ in the Oity of Br~n, who have for ~erio~
reeso~ declined to accept farm employment or other ~al~l wor~. ~e members
of this delegation very ~ently requested the cooperation of the ~iss~oners'
, Co~t in co,action with the el~nation of these ~satisfaotory oondit~ons, and
the~ore requested the Co~t to adopt a~ork or Fl~t" policy, and that the law'e~ore~

Upon verification of the number of votes east for and a~lnst the propoeltlon~ it was
found by the Coanlssionsrs, Court, and es declared, that the propoait$o~ to d~m~ntsh the
tax had been defeated by the votes of the District.
