The matter of canyAssing t~e votes on election held at Rye School House to decide whether
or not the maintenance tax of twenty five cents per hundred dollar valuation shouXd be
abrogated was taken pp a~ this the regular ~uguat Term and the count showed twenty six votes
for a. bro~ation of the tax and twenty against the abrogation of the tax.
By motion of ~red ,. '~/ehrman seconded 'by Will Conrad the Taz was declared abrogated.
Motion made to a~Journ Court Motion carried.
