AND AGENDA
BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT
THE COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL MEET IN A WORKSHOP SESSION ON
TUESDAY, JUNE 19, 2001 AT 2:00 P.M. IN THE COMMISSIONERS COURTROOM OF
THE BRAZOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 300 EAST 26TH STREET, SUITE 115, BRYAN,
TEXAS.
1. Call to Order.
2. Discussion of Capital Expenditures, salaries, various projects and other topics relative
to the FY 2002 County budget.
3. Adjourn.
The Courthouse is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any request for

WORKSHOP SESSION
JUNE 19, 2001

The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas met in
a Workshop Session in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the
Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 2:00
p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2001, with the following members of
the Court present:
Alvin W. Jones, County Judge, Presiding;
Tony Jones, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Wm. S. Thornton, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Karen McQueen, County Clerk.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in
attendance.
The Commissioners Court met in Workshop Session to
discuss Capital Expenditures, salaries, various projects and
other topics relating to the FY 2002 County Budget. The
Auditor presented a proforma analysis of available fund
balance as of September 30, 2001. Also presented were
requests to be funded from Capital Improvement Funds as
received from various departments.
Other projects such as Greens Prairie Road Extension,
Justice of the Peace buildings, a radio tower for the jail,
purchase and renovation of buildings, construction of storage
building, the Software Group project, imaging, computer
purchases and copier replacements were discussed and the
funding of the projects.

The foregoing minutes of the Commissioners Court Workshop
held June 19, 2001, have been examined and approved in open

County, Texas.
