THE COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL MEET IN A WORKSHOP SESSION ON
TUESDAY, JUNE 19, 2001 AT 10:30 A.M. IN THE COMMISSIONERS COURTROOM OF
THE BRAZOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 300 EAST 26"' STREET, SUITE 115, BRYAN,
TEXAS.
1. Call to Order.
2. Discussion regarding the Information Technology Department.
3. Discussion regarding The Software Group.
4. Adjourn.

COMMISSIONERS' COURT
WORKSHOP SESSION
JUNE 19, 2001
The Commissioners'* Court of Brazos County, Texas met in
a Workshop Session in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the
Courthouse in Bryan,_ Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:30
a.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2001, with the following members of
the Court present:
Alvin W. Jones, County Judge, Presiding;
Tony Jones, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Wm. S. Thornton, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Karen McQueen, County Clerk.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in
attendance.
The Commissioners Court met in Workshop Session to
discuss the following:
1. Discussion concerning the Information
Technology Department. The Court discussed
increases in the budget for salaries,
benefits, workload and training.
2. The Software Group in reference to the
contract amount, conversion time and the ease
and willingness of users to change.
