NOTICE OF SPECIAL CALLED MEETING
AND AGENDA
BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT
THE COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL CONDUCT A SPECIAL CALLED MEETING ON
WEDNESDAY, MAY 16, 2001 AT 9:00 A.M. IN SUITE 108 OF THE BRAZOS COUNTY
COURTHOUSE, 300 EAST 26"" STREET, BRYAN, TEXAS.
I. Call to order.
2. Convene into Executive Session pursuant to §501.074 of the Texas Government Code
to deliberate the following:
a. employment of an Executive Assistant for the Commissioners Court
b. employment of a Veterans Affairs Officer.
3. Consider and take action on Executive Session.
4. Adjourn.
The Courthouse is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Sign interpretive
services must be requested two business days prior to the meeting. To make arrangements, call

MAY 16, 2001
A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos
County, Texas was. held in suite 108 of the Brazos County
Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 9:00

a.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2001, with the following members of
the Court present:

i Alvin W. Jones, County Judge, Presiding;

Tony Jones, Commissioner of Precinct 1, Absent;
Wm.S. Thornton, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4;
At 9:03 a.m. the County Judge announced the meeting
closed to the public so that the Court could meet in closed
executive session to conduct interviews for the positions of
Executive Assistant and veterans Affairs Officer as allowed
under Section 501.074 Texas Government Code.
At 11:25 a.m. the County Judge announced that no action
would be taken on the Executive Session at this time.
There being no further business to come before the Court,
the meeting was adjourned.
