THE COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL CONDUCT A WORKSHOP SESSION ON
' TUESDAY, MAY 15, 2001 AT 10:00 A.M. IN THE COMMISSIONERS COURTROOM OF
THE BRAZOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 300 EAST 26' STREET, SUITE 115, BRYAN,
TEXAS.
1. Call to Order.
2. Presentation by Steven Harris, George K. Baum & Company, concerning alternative
methods of assisting home buyers in Brazos County using bond funds provided by the
Brazos County Housing Finance Corporation.
3. Presentation by Tom Wilkinson, Brazos Valley Council of Governments, relative to the
administration of the Brazos County Housing Finance Corporation.
4. Presentation by Paul Martin of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, LLP, concerning
arbitr 4 laws for borrowed funds.
5. Adjourn.

MAY 15, 2001
' The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas met in
a Workshop Session in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the
I Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:00
a.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2001, with the following members of
the Court present:
Alvin W. Jones, County Judge, Presiding;
Tony Jones, Commissioner of Precinct 1, Absent;
Wm. S. Thornton, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
4 Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Karen McQueen, County Clerk.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in

consider the following:
I 1. Presentation by Steven Harris, George K. Baum

present for the workshop.

Martin spoke on the 1998 Certificates of
Obligation issue.
