AND AGENDA
BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT
THE COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL MEET IN A WORKSHOP SESSION ON
TUESDAY, MARCH 27, 2001 AT 10:00 A.M. IN THE COMMISSIONERS COURTROOM
OF THE BRAZOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 300 EAST 26TH STREET, SUITE 115,
BRYAN, TEXAS.
I. Call to Order.
2. Presentation by the Sheriffs Office regarding interfacing with the Bryan Police
Department's mobile computer communications system.
3. Discussion of the following topics concerning the Information Technology Department:
a. Additional time and funding for Pentamation on-site training for Personnel and
Payroll
b. Software licensing issues
c. Virus protection software
d. Computer supplies relating to departmental charges
e. Brazos County's network address space renumbering
f. Brazos County's internet access
g. Right-of-way access requests
h. Network cabling RFP - "Point-of-Access" spaces on each floor
i. Relocation of the Information Technology Department offices
j. Upgrading of telephone system for the Information Technology Department
k. Status update on The Software Group contract negotiations
4. Adjourn.
The Courthouse is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any request for

WORKSHOP SESSION-
. MARCH 27, 2001
The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas met in
a Workshop Session in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the
Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at
10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2001, with the following
members of the Court present:
Alvin W. Jones, County Judge, Presiding;
Tony Jones, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Wm. S. Thornton, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Karen McQueen, County Clerk.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in

The Commissioners Court met in Workshop Session to
discuss the following topics:
