NOTICE OF SPECIAL SESSION
AND AGENDA
BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT
THE COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL MEET IN A SPECIAL SESSION ON MONDAY,
FEBRUARY 19, 2001 AT 2:00 P.M. IN ROOM 108 OF THE BRAZOS COUNTY
COURTHOUSE, 300 EAST 26THSTREET, BRYAN, TEXAS.
1. Call to order.
2. Convene into Executive Session pursuant to 551.074 of the Texas Government Code
to deliberate the appointment of a County Clerk.
3. Consider and take action on Executive Session.
4. Adjourn.
The Courthouse is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any request for
sign interpretive services must be made two business days before the meeting. To make

A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos
County, Texas was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the
Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 2:00
p.m. on Monday, February 19, 2001, with the following members
of the Court present:
Alvin W. Jones, County Judge, Presiding;
Tony Jones, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Wm.S. Thornton, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk.
At 2:00 p.m. the County Judge announced the meeting
closed to the public so that the Court could meet in Closed
Executive Session to deliberate the appointment of a County
Clerk as allowed under Section 551.074 Texas Government Code.
At 4:57 p.m. the County Judge announced the meeting open
to the public and that no action would be taken on the Closed
Executive Session.
There being no further business to come before the Court,
the meeting was adjourned.
