AND AGENDA
BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT
THE COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL MEET IN A WORKSHOP SESSION ON
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2000 AT 10:00 A.M. IN THE COMMISSIONERS
COURTROOM OF THE BRAZOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 300 EAST 26TH STREET,
SUITE 115, BRYAN, TEXAS.
TOPICS TO BE DISCUSSED ARE:
1. A proposal by the City of Bryan Fire Department and the City of College Station for the
delivery of Emergency Medical Services.
2. Revision of County Subdivision Regulations.
3. Paupers Burial.
The Courthouse is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any request for
sign interpretive services must be made two business days before the meeting. To make

Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at

10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2000, with the following
members of the Court present:

Alvin W. Jones, County Judge, Presiding;
Tony Jones, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Wm. S. Thornton, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
6 Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in
attendance.
The Commissioners Court met in Workshop Session to
discuss the following items:
• 1. A proposal by the City of Bryan Fire Department and
the City of College Station Fire Department for the delivery
of Emergency Medical Services. The cities are proposing
that the County increase the budgeted dollars because
$170,000 alone was spent on rural ambulance runs.
r 2. Revision of County Subdivision Regulations.
Coordinating regulations with the two cities' regulations
was the major focus.
3. Paupers Burial. The County Judge asked Patricia
Meronoff to develop a policy.
