IN THE COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM OF THE BRAZOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 300 EAST 26TH STREET, SUITE 115, BRYAN, TEXAS. 1. Invocation. 2. Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Approve minutes of Commissioners Court meeting held December 29, 1994. 4. Consider and take action on setting the holidays for 1995. 5. Consider and take action on approval of Official Bonds for the newly elected officials. 6. Consider and take action on personnel change of status. 7. Consider and take action of payment of claims. 8. " r - ',`..L'~x • _ 1 a L y COMMISSIONERS' COURT SPECIAL MEETING JANUARY 3, 1995 , A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos ` County, Texas was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the i Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 1995, with the following members of the Court present: I E Al Jones, County Judge, Presiding; Gary Norton, Commissioner of Precinct 1; Sandie Walker, Commissioner of Precinct 2; Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3; Carey Cauley, Commissioner of Precinct 4; Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk. The following citizens and officials were in attendance: Ruth McLeod Executive Assistant Bea Green Secretary to Commissioners John Reynolds Auditor Cheryl Turney Auditor's Office 1 Stephanie Clark Auditor's Office t Kay Hamilton Treasurer Terri White Deputy Treasurer Richard Vance County Engineer Bobby Riggs Sheriff Rita Watkins Sheriff's Office Ralph Jones Jail Administrator M. J. Deen Data Processing John Branch Data Processing Jim Hiney Bryan/College Station Eagle The County Judge gave the invocation and led the pledge of allegiance. ' The Court next considered approval of the minutes of the Commissioners' Court meetings held December 29, 1994. On 'motion by commissioner Sims, seconded by Commissioner Cauley, the Court voted unanimously to approve the minutes as submitted. Employees must receive department head approval before taking the floating holiday. The next matter before the Court was consideration of the elected officials bonds. The County Clerk informed the Court that she had received the following'bonds: Norton, the Court voted unanimously to approve the changes as Vp PAGE, County Judge - Al Jones $5,000 payable to the Co. Treasurer Judge, County Court at Law I - Steve Smith $5,000 payable to the Co. Treasurer Judge, County Court at Law II - Sarah Ryan $5,000 payable to the Co. Treasurer District Clerk - Marc Hamlin $100,000 payable to the Governor of the State of Texas Deputy District Clerk $100,000 Blanket Bond County Clerk - Mary Ann Ward $180,000 payable to Brazos County Deputy County Clerk $180,000 Blanket Bond County Treasurer - Kay Hamilton $25,000 payable to the County Judge Deputy County Treasurer $5,000 Blanket Bond County Commissioner Pct. 2 - Sandie Walker $3,000 payable to the County Treasurer County Commissioner Pct. 4 - Carey Cauley $3,000 payable to the County Treasurer Justice of the Peace Pct. 1 - Tommy Lyons $5,000 payable to the County Judge Justice of Peace Pct. 2 - Mary C. Horn $5,000 payable to the County Judge Justice of Peace Pct. 3 - Ray Truelove $5,000 payable to the County Judge Justice of Peace Pct. 4 - Carolyn M. Hensarling $5,000 payable to the County Judge Justice of Peace Pct. 5 - Antone Dobrovolny $5,000 payable to the County Judge The bond of Justice of the Peace Precinct 7 Place 2, Wes Hall had been signed but was not in the County Clerk's possession. On motion by Commissioner Sims, seconded by Commissioner Norton, the Court voted unanimously to approve the elected officials bonds with the exception of the bond of Wes Hall which will be approved at a later date.
