NOTICE OF MEETING
BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS' COURT MEETING
THE COMMISSIONERS' COURT WILL MEET IN SPECIAL SESSION ON MONDAY,
DECEMBER 12, 1994 AT 10:30 A.M. FOR THE PURPOSE OF HOLDING A PUBLIC
HEARING ON THE ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF HICKS LANE IN PRECINCT
3. THE MEETING WILL BE HELD IN THE COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM OF THE
BRAZOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 300 EAST 26TH STREET, SUITE 115, BRYAN,
TEXAS.
The building is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are
available. Any request for sign interpretive services must be made

The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas held a
Public Hearing to consider the abandonment of a portion of
Hicks Lane in precinct 3. The Public Hearing was held in the
Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos
County, Texas, beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 12,
1994, with the following members of the Court present:
R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, Absent;
Gary Norton, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3, Presiding;
Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4, Absent;
Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk.
The following citizens and officials were in attendance:

Richard Vance Co. Engineer
Commissioner Sims stated that the Public Hearing was for
the purpose of considering the abandonment of a portion of
Hick Lane. He said that no one lives along this section. The
Road and Bridge Department would determine the centerline of
the road and that the individual property owners could fence
to that point.
Since there was no one in attendance to give commentary
for or against the proposed abandonment, Commissioner Sims
then declared the Public Hearing closed.

Hearing held December 12, 1994 have been examined and are approved
