HomeMy WebLinkAbout1993-03-30-1030AM-Speciali COMMISSIONERS' COURT SPECIAL MEETING MARCH 30, 1993 • A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 30, 1993, with the following members of the Court present: R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, Presiding; Gary Norton, Commissioner of Precinct 1; Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2; Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3; Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4; Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk. The following citizens and officials were in attendance: Ruth McLeod Executive Assistant Carol Palmer Admin. Asst. to County Judge Bea Green Secretary to Commissioners The County Judge opened the meeting and announced that it would be recessed until April 6, 1993 at 10:30 a.m. to allow the City of Bryan to negotiate for a right -of -way easement to • maintain the utility lines installed in Walton Pond Subdivi- sion in Precinct 1. The Court would take action at that time on the cancellation of the subdivision. 0 COMMISSIONERS' COURT SPECIAL MEETING APRIL 6, 1993 The County Judge reconvened the March 30, 1993 meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas at 10:30 a.m. on April 6, 1993 in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, with the following members of the Court present: R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, Presiding; Gary Norton, Commissioner of Precinct 1; Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2, Absent; Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3; Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4, Absent; Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk. The following citizens and officials were in attendance: Ruth McLeod Executive Assistant Bea Green Secretary to Commissioners The County Judge stated that Thomas R. and Barbara J. Saving, the owners of Walton Pond Subdivision, have granted the City of Bryan an easement and right -of -way to enter upon and to erect, construct, maintain, operate, inspect, replace, repair patrol and remove its electric line of wire, cross arms, guy wires, conduits, stubs and other usual fixtures for the maintenance and operation of an electric distribution system and have granted to Howard Williams, the owner of 7.9 acres an easement for ingress and egress to his property. On motion by Commissioner Sims, seconded by Commissioner Norton, the Court voted unanimously to authorize Thomas R. and Barbara J. Saving, the owners of Walton Pond Subdivision to file a Cancellation of Walton Pond Subdivision in the official records of Brazos County, Texas. There being no further business to come before the Court, the meeting was adjourned.
