TEXAS AGENDA BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS' COURT MEETING THE COMMISSIONERS' COURT WILL MEET IN SPECIAL SESSION ON MONDAY, DECEMBER 7, 1992, AT 9:00 A.M. IN THE COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM OF THE BRAZOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 300 EAST 26TH STREET, SUITE 115, BRYAN, TEXAS. 1. Invocation. 2. Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Consider and take action on the approval of a software pack- age for the Road and Bridge Department. 4. Consider and take action on an increase in automobile insurance premiums for Brazos County. 5. Consider and take action on the appointments to the Brazos County Historical Commission for 1993-1994 term. 6. Consider and take action on personnel change of status. 7. Consider and take action on payment of claims. 8. Adjourn. VO PAO E __._ZlY 1 r COMMISSIONERS' COURT SPECIAL MEETING 4D DECEMBER 7, 1992 A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, December 7, 1992, with the following members of the Court present: R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, Presiding; Gary Norton, Commissioner of Precinct 1; Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2; Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3; Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4; Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk. The following citizens and officials were in attendance: 0 Bea Green Rosalie Todaro Cheryl Turney A. H. Winder Sandie Walker Kay Tracy Jennifer Gordy Tom Riehm Kenny Mallard Shirley Copeland secretary to Commissioners Auditor's Office Auditor's Office County Engineer Treasurer's Office Road & Bridge Department KBTX-TV KBTX-TV Mallard Insurance Mallard Insurance Commissioner Sim:: gave the invocation and led the pledge of allegiance. The first matter for consideration was the approval of a software package for the Road & Bridge Department. M. J. Deen, Head of Data Pro;essing, informed the Court that this is for Zortec to develop a software package to replace the current Mapper sof twa :e for the Road and Bridge Department. She added that this would modify the current contract between Zortec and Brazos County. On motion by the County Judge, seconded by Commissiorer Wilcox, the Court voted unanimously to approve the recommendation of Dr. Dan Colunga that Zortec develop a software package to replace the current Mapper software for Road ar. d Bridge and to modify the current contract to include $2:.,000.00 for Zortec to produce a turnkey Road and Bridge software package. Kenny Mallard, representative of Mallard Insurance, explained that due to a change in the policy period, the modifier experience rate increased because of the number of accidents within the period. He did say that the rate would be modified again in April of 1993. On motion by Commissioner Norton, seconded by Commissioner Sims, the Court voted unanimously to approve payment of the new premium amount for liability coverage. On motion by Commissioner Sims, seconded by Commissioner Wilcox, the Court voted unanimously to appoint the following people to the Brazos county Historical Commissioner for the years 1993 and 1994: Mrs. Colleen Batchelor Mrs. Jody Bates Mr. Stephen C. Wallace The Court proceeded to consider the change of status of the following employees.
