BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS' COURT MEETING
THE COMMISSIONERS' COURT WILL MEET IN SPECIAL SESSION ON THURS-
DAY, NOVEMBER 12, 1992, AT 9:00 A.M. AND FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13,
1992, AT 1:00 P.M. IN THE COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM OF THE BRAZOS
COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 300 EAST 26TH STREET, SUITE 115, BRYAN, TEXAS.
1. Consider and take action on various memberships paid by the
County.
2. Adjourn.

The following citizens and officials were in attendance:

A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos
County, Texas was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the
Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 9:00
a.m. on Thursday, November 12, 1992, with the following
members of the Court present:
Ruth McLeod
Bea Green
Bill Turner
John Delaney
Sharon Fairchild
A. H. Winder
Sarah Ryan
Jim Hiney
Executive Assistant
Secretary to Commissioners
District Attorney
Judge 272nd District Court
Auditor
County Engineer
Judge Co. Court at Law II
Bryan/College Station Eagle
The Court met to
consider various professional
memberships paid for by the county. The purpose of the
meeting was to determine what memberships were necessary or
advantageous to the o:`fice. The Court heard commentary from
various office holders explaining the necessity of keeping
certain memberships an3 which memberships they could cancel or
pay for themselves. The Court heard from John Delaney, Judge
272nd District Court, Bill Turner, District Attorney, Sharon
Fairchild, County Auditor, Louis Garcia, Constable Precinct 7,
Holland Winder, County Engineer and Sarah Ryan, Judge County
Court at Law II.
The County Judge recessed the meeting until 1:00 p.m.
Friday, November 13, 1992 at which time the Court would
continue hearing commentary from various office holders
regarding memberships.
