COMMISSIONERS' COURT WORKSHOP SESSION OCTOBER 25, 1999 The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas met in a Workshop Session in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, October 25, 1999, with the following members of the Court present: Alvin W. Jones, County Judge, Presiding; Tony Jones, Commissioner of Precinct 1; Wm. S. Thornton, Commissioner of Precinct 2, Absent; Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3; Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4; Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk. Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in attendance. The Commissioners Court met in Workshop Session to discuss daily reimbursement for jurors. Judge Delaney presented a graduated scale ranging from $15.00 to $50.00 per day depending on length of service of the jurors. Two plans with variations A & B were presented for discussion. Copies of these are attached. The court was further advised that jurors are not required to be reimbursed for the first day they appear for voir dire. ,l I 1 ^ 1 G f I.
