NOTICE OF SPECIAL CALLED MEETING
BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT
THE COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL MEET IN A SPECIAL CALLED MEETING ON
THURSDAY, AUGUST 12,1999 AT 5:00 P.M. IN THE COMMISSIONERS COURTROOM
OF THE BRAZOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 300 EAST 26TH STREET, SUITE 115,
BRYAN, TEXAS. THE PURPOSE OF THE MEETING IS TO TAKE ACTION ON THE
FOLLOWING ITEMS:
1. PRESENTATION OF THE PROPOSED BUDGET FORTHE FISCAL YEAR
2000.
2. ESTABLISH DATE AND TIME FOR PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING
THE PROPOSED BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2000.

COMMISSIONERS' COURT
SPECIAL MEETING
AUGUST 12, 1999
A special called meeting of the Commissioners' Court of
Brazos County, Texas was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom
in the Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at
9:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 12, 1999, with the following
members of the Court present:
Alvin W. Jones, County Judge, Presiding;
Tony Jones, Commissioner of Precinct 1, Absent;
Wm. S. Thornton, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in
attendance.
The County Judge presented the proposed budget for the
fiscal year 2000.
On motion by Commissioner Sims, seconded by Commissioner
Cauley, the Court voted unanimously to establish Wednesday,
September 8, 1999 at 9:00 a.m. as the date and time for the
Public Hearing on the proposed budget for fiscal year 2000.
There being no further business to come before the Court,
the meeting was adjourned.
