BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT

The Brazos County Commissioners Court will be participating in a workshop meeting with the
Robertson County Commissioners Court on Tuesday, August 10, 1999, at 10:30 a.m. at the
Brazos Center, 3232 Briarcrest Drive, Bryan, Texas. The topic for this meeting will be the
Ground Water Conservation District being established in accordance with the authority of Senate
Bill 1911.

The Brazos Center is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any requests
for sign interpretive services must be made two business days before the meeting. To make

WORKSHOP SESSION
AUGUST 10, 1999
The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas met in
a Workshop Session with the Robertson County Commissioners at
the Brazos Center in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at
10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 1999, with the following
members of the Court present:
Alvin W. Jones, County Judge, arrived late;
Tony Jones, Commissioner of Precinct 1, Presiding;
Wm. S. Thornton, Commissioner of Precinct 2, arrived
late;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3, arrived late;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4, arrived
late;
Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in
attendance.
Commissioner Jones opened the Workshop session and
announced that other members of the Commissioners Court would
be late due to a Public Hearing that was being held at the
Courthouse.
General discussion was held pertaining to the
establishment of a Ground Water Conservation District in
accordance with the authority of Senate Bill 1911. The
district is to include both Brazos and Robertson Counties.
