THE COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL MEET IN A WORKSHOP SESSION ON
TUESDAY, JULY 21,1998 AT 10:00 A.M. IN THE COMMISSIONERS COURTROOM OF
THE BRAZOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 300 EAST 26T° STREET, SUITE 115, BRYAN,
TEXAS.
THE PURPOSE OF THE WORKSHOP IS TO DISCUSS PLANS FOR THE EXPANSION
OF THE MINIMUM SECURITY JAIL.
The Courthouse is wheelchair accessible. Handicap spaces are available. Any request for
sign interpretive services must be made two business days before the meeting. To make

WORKSHOP SESSION
JULY 21, 1998
The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas met in a
Workshop Session in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse
in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday,
July 21, 1998, with the following members of the Court present:
Alvin W. Jones, County Judge, Presiding;
Tony Jones, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Wm. S. Thornton, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk.
Attached is a list of the citizens -and officials in
attendance.
The Commissioners Court met in Workshop Session to discuss
plans for the expansion of the minimum security jail.

July 21, 1998, have been examined and approved in open Court this
