WORKSHOP SESSION
THE COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL MEET IN A WORKSHOP SESSION ON
TUESDAY, MAY 19,1998 AT 10:30 A.M. IN THE COMMISSIONERS COURTROOM OF
THE BRAZOS COUNTY COURT11OUSE, 300 EAST 26TII STREET, SUITE 115, BRYAN,
TEXAS.
I. Discussion of the development of a facility for Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace and
Constable and for a fire station to be co- located at Highway 6 and FM 159.
2. Discussion of a generic design of a facility for Justices of the Peace and Constables for
potential construction in other parts of the County.
3. Discussion regarding the incentive package for Koch Industries, Inc.
4. Discussion regarding the updating, modifying and improving the following County policies
and procedures:
a. Purchasing
b. Travel
c. Travel Advance
d. Capital Outlay
e. Credit Cards
f. Fixed Assets
5. Discussion regarding copier replacement.

COMMISSIONERS' COURT
WORKSHOP SESSION
MAY 19, 1998
The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas met in
a Workshop Session in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the
Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:30
a.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 1998, with the.following members of
the Court present:
Alvin W. Jones, County Judge, Presiding;
Tony Jones, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Wm. S. Thornton, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4, Absent;
Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in
attendance.
The Commissioners Court met in Workshop Session to
discuss the following items:
1. The development of a facility for
Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace and
Constable and for a fire station to be
co- located at Highway 6 and FM 159.
2. A generic design of a facility for
Justice of the Peace and Constables for
potential construction in other parts of
the County.
