THE COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL MEET IN A WORKSHOP SESSION ON
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 11, 1997 AT 3:00 P.M. IN THE COMMISSIONERS COURTROOM
OF THE BRAZOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, SUITE 115,300 EAST 26TH STREET, BRYAN,
TEXAS.
THE PURPOSE OF THE WORKSHOP IS FOR A PRESENTATION BY A TEXAS A&M
UNIVERSITY EISENHOWER STUDY GROUP. THE TOPIC IS "A STUDY OF JUSTICE OF
THE PEACE AND CONSTABLE OFFICES."
The building is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any request for
sign interpretive services must be made 48 hours before the meeting. To make arrangements,

WORKSHOP SESSION
DECEMBER 11, 1997
The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas met in
a workshop Session in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the
Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 3:00
p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 1997, with the following
members of the Court present:
Alvin W. Jones, County Judge, Presiding;
Tony Jones, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Wm. S. Thornton, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4, Absent;
Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in
attendance.
The Commissioners Court met in Workshop Session to hear
a presentation by the Texas A &M University Eisenhower Study
Group. The topic was "A Study of Justice of the Peace and �\
