WORKSHOP SESSION
THE BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL MEET IN A WORKSHOP
SESSION ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 1997 AT 9:30 A.M. IN THE
COMMISSIONERS COURTROOM OF THE BRAZOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 300
EAST 26TH STREET, SUITE 115, BRYAN, TEXAS.
1. • Presentation regarding open enrollment for the insurance program.
2. Discussion of County Retirement Plan Changes.
3. Discussion of Deferred Compensation Program.
4. Discussion of long -range financing, annual debt requirements and related tax rate.
5. Discussion of policy and procedures for reimbursement of visiting judges.
6. Adjourn.
The Courthouse is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any request

WORKSHOP SESSION
NOVEMBER 11, 1997
The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas met in a
Workshop Session in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse
in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday,
November 11, 1997, with the following members of the Court present:
Alvin W. Jones, County Judge, Presiding;
Tony Jones, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Wm. S. Thornton, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in
attendance.
The Commissioners Court met in Workshop Session to discuss the
following topics:
1. Presentation- regarding open enrollment for the
County Health Insurance Program and Flex Plan.
2. County Retirement Plan changes.
3. Deferred Compensation Program.
4. Long range financing, annual debt requirements
and related tax rate.
5. Policy and Procedures for reimbursement of
visiting judges.
