TEXAS AGENDA BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT ' SPECIAL CALLED MEETING There will be a special called meeting of the Brazos County Commissioners Court on Monday, November 10, 1997 at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will be conducted in the Commissioners Courtroom, Room 115, of the Brazos County Courthouse, 300 East 26th Street, Bryan, Texas. The purpose of the special called meeting will be to canvas the votes of the November 4, 1997 election. The Courthouse is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any request for sign interpretive services must be made 48 hours before the meeting. To make arrangements, call (409) 3614102. i t r i • COMMISSIONERS' COURT SPECIAL MEETING NOVEMBER 10, 1997 A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 10, 1997, with the following members of the Court present: Alvin W. Jones, County Judge, Presiding; Tony Jones, Commissioner of Precinct 1; Wm. S. Thornton, Commissioner of Precinct 2; Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3; Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4; Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk. Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in attendance. The Court proceeded to canvas the results of the Special Constitutional Amendment Election held November 4, 1997. On motion by the County Judge, seconded by Commissioner Sims, the • Court voted unanimously to accept as true the county -wide • votes cast as tabulated on the County's automated tabulating equipment and ordered the results to be certified to the Secretary of State and recorded in the Official Election Records of Brazos County. A copy of the election results as tabulated is attached hereto.
