WORKSHOP SESSION
THE COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL MEET IN A WORKSHOP SESSION ON
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 1997 AT 10:30 A.M. IN THE COMMISSIONERS
COURTROOM OF THE BRAZOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 300 EAST 26TH STREET,
SUITE 115, BRYAN, TEXAS.
I There will be a discussion of Records Management systems. Representatives from the Texas
State Library will be present to discuss systems, laws, security and costs.

The Courthouse is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any request

COMMISSIONERS' COURT
WORKSHOP SESSION
SEPTEMBER 9, 1997
The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas met in
a Workshop Session in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the
Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:00
a.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 1997, with the following members
of the Court present:
Alvin W. Jones, County Judge, Presiding;
Tony Jones, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Wm. S. Thornton, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in
attendance.
The Commissioners Court met in Workshop Session to
discuss Records Management Systems. Ha riet Roberts and Tim
Nolan with the Texas State Library were present to discuss
records preservation and new technology for record keeping.

The foregoing minutes of the Commissioners Court Workshop
held September 9, 1997, have been examined and approved in
