THE COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL MEET IN A WORKSHOP SESSION ON
MONDAY, JANUARY 27,1997 AT 8:30 A.M. IN THE COMMISSIONERS COURTROOM
OF THE BRAZOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 300 EAST 26TH STREET, SUITE. 115,
BRYAN, TEXAS.
1. Invocation - Commissioner Sims.
2. Pledge of Allegiance - Commissioner Sims.
3. Identify major road projects for 1997.
4. Identify roads which will receive CO funds.
S. Discuss citizens' participation concept.
6. Discuss criteria in the decision on upgrading roads:
a. Average daily traffic
b. Collector road
c. Safety
d. Right-of-way

The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas met in a
Workshop Session in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse
in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday,
January 27, 1997, with the following members of the Court present:
Alvin W. Jones, County Judge, Presiding;
Gary Norton, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Sandie Walker, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in
attendance.
Commissioner Sims gave the invocation and led the Pledge of
Allegiance.
The Commissioners Court met in Workshop Session to discuss the
following topics:
1. Identify major road projects for 1997
2. Identify roads which will receive CO funds.
3. Discussed citizen's participation concept.
4. Discussed criteria in the decision on upgrading roads
