Jones, County Judge, Presiding; Gary Norton, Commissioner of Precinct 1; Sandie Walker, Commissioner of Precinct 2; Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3; Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4, Absent; Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk. Attached is a list of citizens and officials in attendance. The Commissioners Court met in Workshop Session to hear a presentation given by Carey Hall, representative of the Texas Department of Transportation, concerning the "County Road Inventory Project." Mr. Hall distributed the attached sheet outlining the topics discussed at the workshop. COUNTY ROAD INVENTORY BACKGROUND A Tc\us Legislative Requirement (State Law - 1982) B Necesstiv for State. County and 911 records to be identical (Is the 911 map complete'?) C. Create a complete and accurate county road map for the collection of accurate county road mileage. 4. COUNTY ROAD INVENTORY A The inventory (data collection process) was contracted to a vendor but %%ill be govemed by T\DOT 13 The vendor (Universal I?nsco) is a compan\ based in Ipouston and has e\lensive knov\Iedge collecting GPS field data C Countv representatives have the option to ride with the vendor during the inventory (At tunes this may be nmmsary) 3. COUNTY ROAD CRITERIA A Roads maintained h\• the county and open to the public I Locked gales - policy (Inventory \%ill end at the locked gale) 2 Private road signs - 13\amplcs Private road, Keep Out.
