NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT

The Commissioners Court of Brazos County, Texas will hold a Public Hearing to consider the
placement of a "Stop" sign on Sweetwater Drive (which is not a county maintained road until
August 1, 1996) at its intersection with Greens Prairie Road in Precinct I.
The place of the hearing will be the Commissioners' Courtroom, Brazos County Courthouse,
Room 115, 300 East 26th Street, Bryan, Texas. The date of the hearing will be Monday,
September 25, 1995 and the time of the hearing will be 10:00 am.
All interested persons are invited to attend said hearing and present their cause, if any, for or
against the placement of a "Stop" sign on Sweetwater Drive at its intersection with Greens Prairie
Road in Precinct 1.
The building is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any request for
sign interpretive services must be made 48 hours before the meeting. To make arrangements,

PUBLIC HEARING
SEPTEMBER 25, 1995
The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas held a
Public Hearing to consider traffic Regulation on various
county roads pursuant to Section 2.301 of the County Road and
Bridge Act, Art. 6702-1 subchapter D, Vernons Civil Statutes
in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse in Bryan,
Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Monday,
September 25, 1995, with the following members of the Court
present:
Alvin W. Jones, County Judge, Absent;
Gary Norton, Commissioner of Precinct 1, Presiding;
Sandie Walker, Commissioner of Precinct 2, Absent;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3, Absent;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk.
The following citizens and officials were in attendance:
Ruth McLeod Executive Assistant
Bea Green Secretary to Commissioners
Jim Mazurkiewicz Agriculture Extension Agent
Commissioner Norton explained that the purpose of the
Public Hearing was to hear commentary for and against the
placement of a "Stop" sign on Sweetwater Drive, which is not
a county maintained road until August 1, 1996, at its
intersection with Greens Prairie Road in Precinct 1. There
being no one in attendance to give commentary for or against
the placement of a stop sign on Sweetwater Drive, Commissioner
Norton declared the Public Hearing closed.
