TEXAS BY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT The Commissioners Court of Brazos County, Texas will hold a Public Hearing to consider the posting of a speed limit on Deer Run Drive, Deerfield Subdivision, located in Precinct 3. The place of the hearing will be the Commissioners' Courtroom, Brazos County Courthouse, Room 115, 300 East 26th Street, Bryan, Texas. The date of the hearing will be Monday, July 24, 1995 and the time of the hearing will be 10:00 a.m. All interested persons are invited to attend said hearing and present their cause, if any, for or against the posting of a speed limit on this road. The building is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any request for sign interpretive services must be made 48 hours before the meeting. VOL P "AG F. 91^ i 1 r~ u •I 01 i 4 E r. j' t F! r r Z C Z f f i t t M I 1 t COMMISSIONERS' COURT PUBLIC HEARING JULY 24, 1995 The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas held a Public Hearing to consider traffic Regulation on various county roads pursuant to Section 2.301 of the County Road and Bridge Act, Art. 6702-1 subchapter D, Vernons Civil Statutes in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 24, 1995, with the following members of the Court present: Alvin W. Jones, County Judge, Absent; Gary Norton, Commissioner of Precinct 1, Absent; Sandie Walker, Commissioner of Precinct 2; Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3, Presiding; Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4; Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk. The following citizens and officials were in attendance: Ruth McLeod Executive Assistant Bea Green Secretary to Commissioners Richard Vance County Engineer James H. Biehn Brazos County Resident The purpose of the Public Hearing was to hear commentary for and against the proposed posting of a speed limit on Deer Run Drive, Deerfield Subdvision in Precinct 3. Richard Vance, the County Engineer, recommended a 45mph speed limit in the Deerfield Subdivision and a 40mph speed limit on Deer Run Drive. James H.Biehn, a new land owner in the subdivision, asked for speed control.
