Consider and take action on dividend and stock from Producers Cooperative Association. a ry%ncirinn anri bairn anfinn nn r~..n......e.l ..P h ~J • • _i COMMISSIONERS' COURT SPECIAL MEETING JUNE 6, 1994 A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, June 6, 1994, with the following members of the Court present: R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, Presiding; Gary Norton, Commissioner of Precinct 1; Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2; Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3; Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4; Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk. The following citizens and officials were in attendance: Ruth McLeod Executive Assistant Carol Palmer Admin. Asst. to County Judge John Reynolds Auditor Sandie Walker Treasurer Paula Tanner Treasurer's Office Richard Vance County Engineer • Bobby Riggs Sheriff Rita Watkins Sheriff's Office Commissioner Sims gave the invocation and led the pledge of allegiance. There were no budget amendments. The Court first considered an agreement between the Mental Health Mental Retardation Authority of Brazos Valley and Brazos County. Brazos County will fund $50,000.00 for fiscal year 1993-1994 plus allow the MHMR use of the county building at 24th and Washington Street. The MHMR will furnish mental health and mental retardation services to the residents of Brazos County. Term of the contract will be from September 1 to August 31st of each year. On motion by Commissioner Norton, seconded by Commissioner Turner, the Court voted i unanimously to enter into contractual agreement with the Mental Health Mental Retardation Authority'of Brazos Valley and Brazos County. A copy of the contractual agreement is attached hereto. The Court proceeded to consider the change of status of the following employees. In addition, Brazos County is responsible for the exterior care of the building, mechan-,cal and parking areas, landscaping, etc., while MHMR is responsible for the interior condition of the building including painting, carpet, etc. These funds and the in-kind donation of the building allow MHMR to furnish mental health and mental retardation services to residents of Brazos County as mandated by TXMHMR, various laws, rules, and community need. ` O /``.ten/ r i r ti .1 9 I i~ I i r. i 1 ~1 • • .1.. .
