COMMISSIONERS' COURT
SPECIAL MEETING
MAY 3, 1994
A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos
County, Texas was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the
Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 9:00
a.m. on Monday, May 3, 1994, with the, following members of the
Court present:
R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, Presiding;
Gary Norton, Commissioner of Precinct 1, Absent;
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4, Absent;
Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk.
The following citizens and officials were in attendance:
Ruth McLeod Executive Assistant
John Reynolds Auditor
Cheryl Turney Auditor's Office
Bobby Riggs Sheriff
Ed Dobbins Maintenance
John Delaney Judge 272nd District Court
Harley Jewell Citadel Industries
David Wheeler Citadel Industries
Phyllis Fahlquist LWV
The Court met to look at presentations from various
vendors regarding Courthouse security. The presenters were:
Harley Jewell of Citadel Industries for George Herbert
Applied Realtime Systems who gave a
presentation on card access security for
employee entrances and
Derek Barker, representative of Outokumpu Instruments,
who gave a presentation on x-ray
machines/walk-through metal detectors.
The County Judge thanked each presenter and since there
was no further business to come before the Court, the meeting
was adjourned.
