Adjourn. i 'r E o- }a: ,•a ,r ..j .i .0 1 9 i A t r�� y • • • COMMISSIONERS' COURT SPECIAL MEETING NOVEMBER 18, 1993 A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 18, 1993, with the following members of the Court present: R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, Presiding; Gary Norton, Commissioner of Precinct 1; Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2; Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3; Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4, Absent; Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk. The following citizens and officials were in attendance: Ruth McLeod Executive Assistant A. W. Davis Attorney Steven Steele Attorney Winfred Pittman Constable Precinct 7 Bill Thornal Deputy Constable Pct. 7 The County Judge opened the meeting and announced that the Court would go into executive session to discuss the Scurlock Permian law suit with legal counsel. The meeting • closed at 9:05 a.m. The County Judge opened the meeting at 10:55 a.m. and announced that the meeting would recess until Monday, November 22, 1993. COMMISSIONERS' COURT SPECIAL MEETING NOVEMBER 22, 1993 The County Judge reconvened the meeting of November 18, 1993 at 2:00 p.m. At 2:10 p.m. the County Judge announced the meeting closed to the public so that the Court could meet in closed executive session to discuss litigation as allowed under Section (6252- 17(2)(e) Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes. At 3:48 p.m. the County Judge announced the meeting open J to the public. On motion by Commissioner Sims, seconded by • Commissioner Norton, the Court voted unanimously to carry the issue to the Supreme Court and asked legal council to prepare the appropriate documents.
