SEPTEMBER 23, 1993, AT 2:00 P.M. IN THE COMMISSIONERS' OFFICE OF
THE BRAZOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 300 EAST 26TH STREET, SUITS 116,
BRYAN, TEXAS.
1. Open Meeting.
2. Executive Session to interview candidate for the position of
County Engineer.
3. Consider and take action on Executive Session.
4. Adjourn.

COMMISSIONERS' COURT
SPECIAL MEETING
SEPTEMBER 23, 1993
A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos
County, Texas was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the
Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 1:30
p.m. on Thursday, September 23, 1993, with the following
members of the Court present:
R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, Absent;
Gary Norton, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3, Presiding;
Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4;
The following citizens and officials were in attendance:

Commissioner Sims opened the meeting at 2:01 p.m. and
announced the meeting closed to the public so that the Court
could meet in closed executive session to interview a
candidate for County Engineer.
At 2:37 p.m. Commissioner Sims announced the meeting open
to the public and then called for a motion. On motion by
Commissioner Turner, seconded by Commissioner Wilcox, the
Court voted unanimously to offer the position of County
Engineer to Richard Vance. The starting date will be
September 27, 1993. There being no further business to
come before the Court, the meeting was adjourned.
