NOTICE OLD PUBLIC HEARING
BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT
The Commissioners Court will meet on Monday, September 13, 1993 at
2:00 P.M. for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the Brazos
County proposed budget for fiscal year ending September 30, 1994.
The meeting will be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom of the
Brazos County Courthouse, 300 EAST 26th Street, Suite 115, Bryan,
Texas.
Tax payers and other interested are invited to attend and be heard
at this time.

PUBLIC HEARING

SEPTEMBER 13, 1993
The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas met on
Monday, September 13, 1993 at 1:00 p.m. for the purpose of
holding a public hearing on the Brazos County proposed budget
for fiscal year ending September 30, 1994. The Public Hearing
was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse in
Bryan, Brazos County, Texas. The following members of the
Court present:
R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, Absent;
Gary Norton, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3, Presiding;
Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk.
The following citizens and officials were in attendance:

Commissioner Sims asked for comments from the audience.
Sheriff Riggs - Asked for certification pay for
peace officers, incentive pay for certified
officers be reconsidered and that the salaries of
both work crew deputies be set at $19,324 annually.
Edwin Dobbins - asked for a salary increase for
Henry Wedel, Tommy Ramirez and Carlos Guidron.
Commissioner Wilcox - requested a Safety
Coordinator position be funded for loss control.
Commissioner Norton thanked everyone for listening and

understanding. Commissioner Sims announced a proposed 4%
increase across the board for all employees.
There being no further commentary, Commissioner Sims
declared the Public Hearing closed.
