BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL CONDUCT A
PUBLIC HEARING ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2022 AT 9:00 A.M.
IN THE COMMISSIONERS COURTROOM OF THE COUNTY
ADMINISTRATION BUILDING, 200 SOUTH TEXAS AVENUE, SUITE
106, BRYAN, TEXAS 77803
The court will hear comments on the proposed budget for the fiscal year ending
September 30, 2023. All interested parties are invited to attend said hearing and
present their cause, if any, for or against the proposed budget.
This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year's budget by an amount of
$14,424,865 which is a 15.28 percent increase from last year's budget. The property
tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year is $2,896.587.
The proposed budget is filed with the County Clerk and will remain on file in the office of
the County Clerk in accordance with existing state statutes. All interested parties are
urged to acquaint themselves with said budget during the time it remains on file with the
County Clerk. For your convenience, the proposed budget has also been placed on the
County website at: hftps://www.brazoscountytx.gov.
The Brazos County Administration Building, 200 S. Texas Avenue, Suite 106, Bryan, TX77803 is wheelchair
accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any request for sign interpretive services must be made two

Call to Order
A public hearirig.of the Commissioners' Court:of Brazos County texas was held in the
Brazos County Commissioners Courtroom in the Administration Building, 200 South
Texas Avenue, in Bryan, Brazos County; -Texas, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday,
September 6, 2022 with the following -members of the Court present:
Duane. Peters, County Judge, Presiding; -
Steve Aldrich, Commissioner of Precinct 1, Absent;,
Russ Ford, Commissioner of Precinct 2, Absent;
Nancy.Beny, Commissioner of Precinct 3;

Irma Cauley, Commissioner of Precinct 4;:
Karen McQueen, County Clerk,- -
The attached sheets .contain the names .of_the citizens and. officials that were -in.
attendance.

Judge Peters called the public hearing to order at 9:05 a.m. then invited the public to
speak. There were no comments from the public therefore, the meeting was adjourned
at 9:15 a.m.
The foregoing minutes of the Commissioners Court Public Hearing held September 06,
2022 have been examined and are approved in open Court this the 11th day of October
2022, in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas.
