Presentation of information, discussion and direction on the FY 2022 budget due to recent needs and opportunities - Capital Improvement Fund (45000) and 2020 Certificates of Obligations (43200). County Auditor, Katie Conner informed the Court that due to recent opportunities, changes in the budget are needed. She began by discussing the three needs that the County currently has, which includes, more County vehicles, the expansion of Greens Prairie Road, and issues with the pipes in the Juvenile facility. Ms. Conner then explained the options the Court has regarding which budgeted funds to reallocate for those projects. The Court discussed the various options including, using the majority of the money budgeted for the new Road and Bridge building to fund the Greens Prairie Road project. There was further discussion regarding the use of certificates of Vol. ( ® Pg. obligation. After further discussion, Purchasing Agent, Charles Wendt asked for clarification on whether the Court had factored in funds for the design of the old Road and Bridge building, as well as the new building. Judge Peters stated that the Court needs to consider both the old and new building at this time. County Engineer, Fred Paine added that it would be an additional $200,000 to factor in the design of the old building and $400,000 for the new. Commissioner Aldrich asked that the Court schedule another workshop to discuss RecoveryAct funds. There being no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned. 3.
