BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT
PUBLIC HEARING
Call to Order
The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas held a Public Hearing at the Brazos
County Administration Building in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, at 1:45 p.m. on
Tuesday, September 2, 2020, with the following members of the Court present:
Duane Peters, County Judge, Presiding;
Steve Aldrich, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Chuck Konderla, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Nancy Berry, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Irma Cauley, Commissioner of Precinct 4, Absent;
Karen McQueen, County Clerk.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in attendance.
The purpose of the hearing is to hear commentary on the proposed tax increase for the
2020 tax year. The County Judge called the meeting to order at 1:45 p.m. and
announced the following:
Maintenance and Operations: $0.4407
Debt Service: $0.0543
Total Rate: $0.4950
He then announced that the adoption of the budget and tax rate will be on Tuesday,
September 8, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. during the regular Commissioners' Court meeting.
The County Judge asked if anyone wished to speak for or against the proposed tax rate.
With no one present to offer commentary for or against the proposed tax increase the

meeting was adjourned.
The foregoing minutes of the Commissioners Court Public Hearing held September 2,
2020 have been examined and are approved in open Court this the 13th day of October,
2020, in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas.

PUBLIC HEARING ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2020 AT 1:45
PM IN THE COMMISSIONERS COURTROOM OF THE COUNTY
ADMINISTRATION BUILDING, 200 SOUTH TEXAS AVENUE, SUITE
106, BRYAN, TX 77803
The court will hear comments on the Proposed Tax Increase for 2020.
Interested parties are invited to attend said hearing and present their cause, if any, for or
against the tax increase for 2020.
The BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available.
Any request for sign interpretive services must be made two working days before the meeting. To make
