The attached sheets contain the names of the citizens and officials that were in attendance. Pursuant to Section 296.003 of the Health and Safety Code, the Commissioners Court of Brazos County has authorized the county to participate in a county health care provider participation program and establish a Local Provider Participation Program. Request authorization to wire transfer to the Texas Health and Human Services Commision all funds collected during FY 2016 from insitutional health care providers participating in this program. vol. -W Pg. /o d IR Item 2.12df Commissioner Cauley made a motion to authorize the payment of all funds not to exceed $24,757,257 in the 2016 fiscal year. Commissioner Mallard seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Kristy Roe, Tax Assessor -Collector then informed the Court that she has already received copies of invoices from the Auditor. These invoices include electronic transfers from hospitals into the Tax Office account. She cautioned that there is a timeframe involved. Once the funds are received, they must be receipted and then the following day they are able to transfer them to the Treasurer where they can be made available. Tim Ottinger of St. Joseph Hospital thanked the Court for the special meeting scheduled to approve this program.
