THE COURT WILL HEAR COMMENTS ON THE PROPOSED TAX INCREASE FOR 2015.

The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas held a Public Hearing at the Brazos County
Administration Building in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday,
August 25, 2015, with the following members of the Court present:
Duane Peters, County Judge, Presiding;
Lloyd Wassermann, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Sammy Catalena, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Kenny Mallard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Irma Cauley, Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Karen McQueen, County Clerk.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in attendance.
The purpose of the hearing is to hear commentary on the proposed tax increase for fiscal year
ending September 30, 2016.
The County Judge called the meeting to order at 10:45 a.m. and invited others to speak.
There was no one present to offer commentary for or against the proposed tax increase. The County
Judge announced that the second public hearing on the tax rate will be on Tuesday, September 1,
2015 at 2:00 p.m. He also announced that the adoption of the tax rate would be held on Tuesday,
September 8, 2015 at the regular meeting.
The County Judge adjourned the meeting at 10:50 a.m
