The Commissioner's Court met to discuss necessary revisions to the Brazos County Subdivision Regulations. Alan Munger. County Engineer stated the following was needed: Vol. 197 pg. 1. A simplified method for re -plats 2. The ETJ needs to be enforced by the County and not be over powered by the City 3. Define RV Park activity and the steps for developing an RV park He continued by saying the County has the ability and should be charging for construction inspections because it takes quite a bit of Road & Bridge staff time. Sometimes they have to inspect for the same person three (3) and four (4) times or his staff will be called out when the builder isn't even finished yet and are asked what it takes to finish. Charging could help alleviate some of this. The current regulations were written for a residential subdivision. The County is seeing more commercial subdivisions but one set of regulations is not sufficient for both types of subdivisions. Mr. Munger went over needs for technical specifications and regulations for road construction. He then handed out information on issues and a consultant proposal form. 3. Adjourn. Vol. 197 pg.
